SWFU Boot Exchange Scheme

The purpose of the boot exchange is to re-use football boots that are in “good condition”, this helps drive down the costs of children playing football. We recognise that children generally attend more than one club or activity and each has its own costs associated with it.

Football boots are probably the most expensive personal kit that you need for your child to play football and they grow out of them so quickly, generally before the boots themselves even look as they have been worn often.

If you have football boots that no longer fit your child and would like to donate them to the “Boot Exchange” please hand them in at the Container at Compass Gardens on a Saturday Morning.

There are 4 things you need to check prior to handing them in:

  • Ensure they are clean
  • Check that there are no studs missing or damaged
  • Ensure the boots are themselves are not ripped
  • Check they are a pair with laces tied together to avoid separation.

On a twice monthly basis we will put all boots out in front of the container to exchange.

Once again thank you to all those parents that have already donated boots to the “Boot Exchange’.

If you are a parent over at Compass Gardens watching training on a Saturday and would be willing to help out and do your bit for our Club, please email info@swfu.co.uk.
