Introduction

South Woodham Ferrers United FC is excited to introduce our Wildcats program, tailored for girls aged 3 to 10 years old. Held on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am at the 3G pitch in South Woodham Ferrers, this program is all about having fun and introducing young girls to the joys of football.

What is Wildcats?

The Wildcats program is designed to make football enjoyable and accessible for young girls. There are no league matches or competitive play—just a welcoming environment where girls can explore the basics of football through fun activities and games. Our sessions are geared towards fostering a love for the game, building confidence, and developing foundational skills in a supportive, noncompetitive setting.

What to Expect

  • Fun and Games: Each session features engaging drills and playful activities that introduce the basic skills of football in a way that’s exciting and enjoyable.
  • Skill Development: Through various games and exercises, girls will develop essential football skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting.
